I have been using computers since 1985, and started my own BBS (Bulletin Board System) before the Internet even came out. A BBS is a service that I had on my computer to allow other people in Essex County to connect with a phone line and post messages, download files, play games or chat with me the sysop (System Administrator). It was an awesome experience for me and lead me in to "Another World of Technologies".
The net at that time was for the military, and not the public until a few years later. I lost all my users, they went to the net, so did I. I Started surfing the net and learning. Being interested in computers and electronics I got a job summer help at a local company as an electricians helper. At the end of the summer job they offered me an apprenticeship after I finished my last year at high school. They took me on as an apprentice and was soon in my own truck doing jobs by my self years before I was a full electrician. I went to college and graduated then wrote my test, Now I am A licensed electrician
I have been in the field and still am today since 1995. While I was an electrician my hobbies were making web sites for my self and many more for close friends and family to help their business out and get them started on the web, and by teaching them how to use the internet to there advantage. Some of my friends Web Master game servers and web sites now for people all over the world. Now after many years of getting a very good understanding of how the net works and what you will need to succeed we can help others get what they want from The World Wide Web.
